report yourself as offended and they will MAKE you change it.

Yeah, that one's way too easy. Now if someone could find something offensive about "Je Tai Recruiter" there is a 50k reward if you can get Anet to force me to change it. (It was a whole pre-sear guild recruitment thing

I'd like to see a NPC merchant name changer and some kind of Hair stylist/colorer, jewelry merchant..... Allow us to change the way we look and charge us for it. An aging system would be good to. it wouldn't affect your abilities but it would change all these female characters from 22 year old hotties to mature 35 year old that cant pull off those revealing clothes anymore.

Name changes must be limited like region changes, ppl quickly learn how to abuse such features (like switching to europe when america loses favor to them).2 times should be the limit, but who knows, ppl can be as dumb to need to change it 10 times..
But I definitely agree with the ability to change hair style and hair color,I mean who cant get a hair cut or dye their hair?

You would have to limit it. Maybe 2 free name changes, then after that they cost 10k ea. Otherwise it will be abused to no end.

Conditionally though. Countless times I wish I could change the name of my character.....customized items would need to switch too. Either/or charge players for a name changing (NPC) or more better restrict the amount of changes to only 1-2 changes per character.

Ignore list will not be affected, works on account not name same as friends list.

When creating my first, and favorite character i managed to miss a space. The result was instead of saying Ellen of Greenstone it said Elenof Greenstone. I hit delete, but unfortunately my finger slipped and hit enter instead. The easy solution would have been to delete the character and start again, but i did not, and now i have a character i have played for ages and ages with a name i would dearly love to correct.

If it can be implemented correctly i am all for it. I play pvp a lot, so for a lot of the time my name changes every hour or 2 hours anyway. Its a shame that you cant change the character name of a PvE character just to correct an error you made ages ago. I dont think i could change the name entirely, the character is too attached to me for that, but the spelling mistake annoys me.
